Day 2 of pre-season testing

(Originally posted: March 13th) I confess I didn't actually end up watching the entire thing today, although I had an eye on the timing chart for the most part. Surprise compensation classes and what not. Anyway. I did watch lot of the morning session, including Hamilton (of all people) beaching the poor Mercedes, as if it didn't have enough problems already, and causing a red flag and a new meme. Thankfully he was back up and running not very long after. Sebastian... *sigh* I can't watch my man suffer much longer, please just let him live! Well thankfully Lance planted his AM in P3 just as the session ended so there's that at least. Fernando Alonso proving that he is BACK - in spite of myself I am excited to see what he and that Alpine can do this season! In any case, I'm glad the young driver's test has worked out for at least one of our rookies this year, the FIA must be so proud. Mclarens looking hella strong again! Daniel top of the charts in the morning, and when I tuned in for a couple minutes in the afternoon Lando went top of the charts too! I must admit it's been a joy to watch that boy growing up, he gives me such proud parent vibes. Speaking of top of the chart - Pierre Gasly! What a run! As well as Antonio Giovinazzi! The order of the world is changing even before 2022 regulations hit the track and I am here for it! And of course, to end the day on a high - the man, the legend, the one and only Mr. Valtteri Bottas goes top of the timing charts for the first (of many, I hope) time this season! *gets out the pompoms* You are the man, Valtteri! Let's do this! (I am trying so hard to not talk about my own team - can you tell?)
